Although the address is Bui Vien street, Kim’s is actually in a small alley that runs parallel with De Tham street. It’s a budget place with rooms from $12. Strictly no frills but not dilapidated in any way, air-con, cable TV and even a room with a tiny small balcony on the top floor.

Just down the road from Kim’s is Happy Inn, a place with lovely rooms, big balconies out front and beautiful bathrooms! Great value for the price. Rooms here are $15 or $16 with a balcony.
