Meet

All young Vietnamese people are passionate about their country, and all Saigonese about their city. Whilst your guidebook may take you around the temples, museums and restaurants, it also takes hundreds of others with it. Why not get out and see a part of Saigon no other tourists see. Meet your new friend for a 3-4 hour period.

They will suggest an itinerary, or you can suggest a place you’d like to visit. Either way, our student volunteers are keen to meet foreigners. Leave it to your volunteer and maybe they’ll show you around their Saigon, their favourite noodle shop, their way of life. Have your own ideas? Want some advice when bargaining in Ben Thanh market? Want to try a certain dish but not sure where to go? That’s no problem either, but remember, this is not a guided tour! Meet, greet, eat, drink, walk, drive, whatever, just enjoy the conversation and this unique perspective on Saigon.
