Here are some of our customers comments on Connections Vietnam…

Hi Chi

Just wanted to email you and let you know what a wonderful time we had with Giang Nuygen on Tuesday.
Giang spoke excellent English and was able to explain in fine detail the ingredients and answer our many questions. She was a lovely young lady and very pleasant company. The host Miss Nga and Chef Miss My were also welcoming and friendly.

Going to a local Vietnamese home and attending the local markets was a fantastic experience and on the top of our list for great times in Saigon.

The cooking class was excellent we enjoyed the fact that we wer involved in the process, even my 14 year old son was happy to roll up the spring rolls and get involved.

We will be recommending your company to our friends as we found your services very professional.

Many thanks for a great time

and the Vietnamese. And now I even know how to put on
bike helmets better !!

That disney/pixar movie is WallE. All the very best
with whatever you do next, have fun with it :)

Hi Jon,

I wanted to let you know that I had an awesome time with Bao Anh and Giang. They were the friendliest people and very knowledgable tour guides.

Bao Anh intermingled the Dine and Meet sessions which allowed me to better experience HCMC. We went to several temples and Bao Anh told me about Buddhist customs and legends. We also hit a bunch of great places to eat and snack. I defnitely got the insider’s view of the city and didn’t feel like a tourist at all.

Giang is delightfully silly and a great tour guide as well as tour companion. Our host chef was gracious and very helpful in showing us Bun Thanh. Her home was immaculate and the kitchen was more up to date than the kitchen in my apartment. Also, her recipe rocked. It was so delicious I had two helpings. She’s a great chef. I wish I could come back and take the Pho cooking lesson.

Kudos to you and your staff for putting on such a great tour program. I am totally grateful for the experience and I definitely would recommend it to others with no reservations

Hi Minh Chi

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful our guide was!

Van met us at our hotel and from that moment on, we had the most wonderful, informative time!

Van knew exactly what we wanted. We wanted to try all the foods local people eat on a day to day basis and this is what we got! I think we ordered about 8 different meals at 8 different places!

Van has been so kind as to email us the pictures she took on the day. I have thanked her again via email, however, I also wanted to let you know how happy we were with her company & her professionalism.

Thanks so much for putting together such a wonderful program.

Kind regards,
Yvette & Phil

The “Cook” session was an absolute delight! From the visit to the local market (where we were able to photograph unfamiliar ingredients!) to the warm welcome from the very talented Nghia and her family. We learned so much, laughed a great deal, enjoyed a delicious lunch and can’t wait to try out our Spring Roll recipe and our new-found skills here at home. Many thanks.”

Dear Connections,

I was one of your first customers and sampled a market excursion / cooking class. I would like to take this opportunity of congratulating you on what was a highly enjoyable and rewarding experience. The family who hosted the class could not have been more hospitable in welcoming us into their home. The class was efficiently and professionally conducted with a range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The finale was sharing a delicious meal together at the conclusion. I will recommend your company highly to all and any vistors to Saigon.

Best Regards, Chris Hayward

WOW we had a GREAT time with everyone on Saturday! We learned so much!
Thanks!

Hi Chi,

I would like to thank you and your company very much for a wonderful morning in HCMC. I really got along well with Van and we had a fantastic time cooking together. Keep uo the good work and I will be sure to tell others about it who are heading to HCMC so they too can enjoy the opportunity.

Once again thank you and please pass on my thanks to Van who was just fantastic and such a great person.

Laura

Dear Chi and Jon,

This is to thank you for helping to make our holiday in Vietnam a wonderful experience. Our guide, Bao Anh, made such a positive impression on Stefan. We would not hesitate to recommend him as a guide for families with children.

Many thanks.

Special thanks to Bao Anh…when he found out that Stefan wanted to offer prayers for his birthparents at a Buddhist temple (and we didn’t know how to go about it) he took us to a temple and walked us through the rituals, patiently answering all of Stefan’s many questions. This was a special experience for our family, and very kind-hearted of this wonderful young man. So very much appreciated!

Our goal was to make these experiences part of an overall positive return visit to Vietnam for our son. It is thanks to the both of you for making the arrangements, our guide Bao Anh for sharing “his” Vietnam, and to Nghia for sharing her talents and her home with us that have helped make our special holiday a smashing success.

Thank you again. We will definitely contact you again upon our return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Sincerely,

Patric, Lauralynn and Stefan

Hi Chi, just wanted to say how much Tony and I enjoyed yesterday. We can’t wait to hunt for the ingredients in Brisbane to make Pho and Spring Rolls – it was lovely to have the Spring Rolls for supper (although Tony got the Lion’s share!). The walking tour was great fun, we enjoyed walking around the Palace and Markets and Pagoda, but we were very glad to have Mai and Amy (apologies for my spelling!) guiding us.

We will happily recommend Connections Vietnam to anyone travelling to HCMC. When I get back home I will try and write a longer, better testimonial, but again, many thanks for your hospitality yesterday!

Take care
